Snowden denied spying for China

At a regular press conference yesterday, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Hoa Xuan Oanh has flatly rejected doubts Snowden spying for China.

  "I think this is totally unfounded," said Hoa Xuan Oanh said.

In addition, Ms. Xuan Oanh States has asked Washington to explain quickly the international community about the program of secret U.S. surveillance.

"We believe that the U.S. should focus on the concerns and demands of the international community, as well as public opinion regarding this matter and provide necessary explanation," she asked.

  This is the first time the Chinese government to comment directly on the scandal related to former spy Central Intelligence Agency U.S. (CIA) Edward Snowden after he ran to Hong Kong on 20/5 to revealed the wiretapping program and Internet track of the U.S. government.
